Lobguins Softball
Welcome to Boston Lobguins Softball Homepage.
Lobguins started as a softball team for Boston Japanese Linux Users Group in 2001. Name "Lob-guins" was taken from BJLUG's Penguin (Linux) meets Lobster (Boston?) character, "Lobguin-kun". We originally formed the team in order to participate in Japanese Association of Greater Boston's Annual Fall Softball tournament, which we've been participating every year since.
Beginning in 2003, we have started to play in World League of Boston, a modified fast-pitch league. In 2005, we joined Boston Bureaucratic League, a co-ed slow-pitch league. In 2006, we played in the BBL as well as Typhoon League. Boston's Asian Softball League.
We played in Boston West Coed Softball Sunday league in 2007, but we are really happy to be part of Typhoon League since the 2008 season, entering our 5th season total!

If you find something different from the pdf that was given from the league, please let Daigo know. All of 2012 games will be played at Perkins Field See Map in Quincy.
